Set of Dickson Cased Shotguns for Chas. Gordon
A cased set of 16 bore shotguns by John Dickson of Edinburgh.
These guns were made for Charles Gordon in 1886. From about 1875 to 1905 Gordon commissioned 'out of date' guns to be made by a number of British firms, but mostly from Dicksons. Notice that these guns are percussion and long out of favor in 1886. They remain in pristine unfired/unused condition. Now in a private collection.
